Over the last 23 years, Derrick has engaged with many IBM Power Systems companies in the delivery of technology solutions, including enterprise infrastructure modernization and cloud-based data protection and business continuity solutions.  He currently holds several IBM Power sales and technical certifications for IBM i, AIX, and Linux. Derrick has worked with organizations to develop resiliency strategies that seamlessly responds to IT complexities and interdependencies across all cloud and on-premises resources. He has worked with customers to overcome challenges related to implementing different levels of business continuity, disaster recovery, and preventing disruptions from cyber attacks. Derrick has a passion for providing education and being a value-add resource as he is a frequent speaker at user group conferences covering various topics on the IBM Power system platform.
